vintage finds - j&g meakin tea set
To be honest, it's all about the teapot for me... but it's nice to have a matching sugar bowl and milk jug :) The design is topic, and the set is by j&g meakin.

etsy treasury inspired by j&g meakin
I bought a lovely J&G Meakin tea set, which arrived today (I'll take a photo and add it here soon). The colours are so fresh and crisp, like new in fact. I put together this etsy treasury inspired by the colour and design. You can view the original treasury here.

vintage find - hornsea pots and orla kiely fabric
Another Hornsea pottery find, this time some lovely pots in the gourmet 66 design. I think they were originally salt or pepper pots. Absolutely love the pattern and colour. I also bought a couple of pieces of Orla Kiely fabric, which I'm planning on turning into cushion covers.

vintage finds - wooden sewing box and hornsea jam pot
The wooden sewing box was a boot sale find this weekend, it needs a bit of TLC but I love the shape. I've developed a bit of an obsession with hornsea pottery recently, I found this heirloom jam pot on ebay and had to have it! It's from the 1970's and I love the design.
